
Jim&Frank is a duo that play an eclectic mix of music for just about any occasion or function. Jim and Frank are life long musicians with an extensive history who's paths have crossed performing in Colorado Springs for over 30 years in various groups and have teamed up to combine their talents to play live around town performing country, rock, folk and pop favorites for social events and private parties.

Jim Christian is a multi-instrumentalist of the guitar, fiddle and mandolin, and he has been for many decades. Jim was in the Air Force Bands for 22 years and played with the Jazz, Rock, and the Country Bands during that time. During his performances around the world, he performed on the Grand Ole Opry stage. In the Country World, he has played with Suzy Bogguss, Whispering Bill Anderson and Jana Jae. He also performed for President Clinton twice during his term. In Colorado Springs, he has played at the Broadmoor Hotel Tavern Also, recently, he performed in a local EmmyLou Harris Tribute Band "Boulder to Birmingham".

Frank Sanchez has been playing music since age 8 in Los Angeles and began playing bass in 1967. He is self taught on bass, working through the Carol Kaye method books and has taken lessons from Wrecking Crew bassist Joe Osborn. He honed his skills in Los Angeles gaining real world experience on gigs from professional musicians and from attending various jazz clinics. He has toured with groups to Europe, Japan and South Korea and most recently has been touring the country with Eric Elison's Celebrating Gordon Lightfoot Ensemble. In Colorado Springs, he has played the Broadmoor Tavern, Penrose Room. He recently produced an album for the Peppergrass Band, a volunteer folk ensemble that performs for the El Paso County Nature Centers.
